Statement

I am interested in constructing scenes that reflect and evoke emotional situations and the subconcious mind. I position object/s in a specific environment to manifest the emotions/ideas I want to convey.

In retrospect, I think I was trying to embody feelings of connectedness in seperation, presence and absence, and something that reflects the human condition, transitory moments of existence, which remind us of ourselves, our place in this vast universe.

I would like to say that the process of making a painting is a spiritual practice, a contemplative journey into the inner self.
